On March 2, 1969 Joseph Biddle was killed in action.

I don’t know a lot about Joseph’s childhood, but I know he had a wonderful mom and dad because he was so good and knew how to treat people. My whole family, aunts, uncles, sisters and brothers love him and always will. We all still remember him for the person he was. I was proud of him because he never gave into peer pressure and did the right thing at all times. He will forever be loved by everyone who knew him.

I was introduced to "Joe" by one of my acqauintances named Jane Ryder. I resided in Pennsauken,NJ with my parent at the time,as I was a senior in high school. "Joe" surprised me one day by stopping by to visit. He bought me a record by the Duprees. The record was "Have You Heard" with the flip side "Gone With The Wind." The record was tucked behind his back. When he handed it to me, he explained that he would soon be leaving because he was in the military now. He was just trying to get an opportunity to see all he knew before reporting for duty. I only knew "Joe" for a brief space and time in my life. However, I felt especially privledged that day.
