Searching for Family & Friends of Bucks County KIA during Vietnam Conflict

 The Wall That Heals, a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will bring the message of The Wall to Quakertown and residents from surrounding counties, from August 13 to August 16, 2009. 

 The host, American Legion Post 242 of Quakertown, is trying to reach out to the family and friends of the Bucks County men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam conflict to invite them to the Gold Star Ceremony which is being held August 15th, 10:30am at Quakertown Memorial Park in Quakertown, PA.

 “With nearly 100 men that made the ultimate sacrifice, it is quite a daunting task trying to locate family members of these fallen heroes, some 40 years later, “said Brian Foster, of the American Legion.  “We would like to try and have all of the Bucks County KIA represented at the Ceremony, whether it is a family member or a friend. (only family members would receive the Gold Star Banner).
