DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the 90th Annual Memorial Service\nBe sure to mark y
 our calendars and come out for the 90th Annual NJ American Legion Memorial
  Service. The event kicks off at approximately 1:45pm at Locustwood Cemete
 ry\, followed by a moving ceremony at the American Legion section/Flag. Af
 ter paying our respects\, there will be a Social/Buffet at American Legion
  Post 372 in Cherry Hill.\n\nThis long-standing tradition\, dating back to
  the 1930s\, is a time-honored event that brings together Legionnaires and
  their families from all across New Jersey.\nLocustwood Memorial Park: A S
 acred Space for Veterans\nBack in the 1930’s\, Locustwood Memorial Park 
 generously donated a graves/section to the NJ American Legion\, specifical
 ly for Legionnaires and their families. This sacred space is located near 
 the Legion memorial and flagstaff\, making it the only official American L
 egion burial ground in the state of New Jersey.\nHonoring Our Departed Com
 rades\nEvery year\, NJ American Legion Posts throughout the state come tog
 ether to hold a Memorial Service that honors all our fallen Legionnaires. 
 This service takes place on the Sunday after Memorial Day and is not just 
 a post or county observance\, but the official Memorial Day service of the
  Department of New Jersey.\n\n“We must have a bigger and better turn out
  of all veterans groups to prove to the people of New Jersey that we of th
 e American Legion still remember and honor our departed comrades and that

 low Legionnaires\nThis is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with memb
 ers and officers from all our NJ American Legions. Share news\, events\, a

 mber those who have served our country with bravery and dedication.\n\n
