MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY and APPLICATIONS
In addition to active military and veteran memberships, we have memberships available for relatives of veterans. Memberships range from $25 - $35/year.

SAL MEMBERSHIP - Is for male descendants (includes stepsons and adopted sons) of a member of The American Legion. Cost is $25/year. If your qualifying veteran is living, they must be a member of an American Legion in order for you to join. If they are not a member, encourage them to join so you can as well! If they are deceased, you will just need to provide proof of their service - DD214, or other forms acceptable include photo of headstone with military marking, death notice with service details, etc. Click Here to view/print/download application. AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP - Is for male and female spouses of veteran/active military, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion. Cost is $30/year. If your qualifying veteran is living, they must be a member of an American Legion in order for you to join. If they are not a member, encourage them to join so you can as well!
