In addition to active military and veteran memberships, we have memberships available for relatives of veterans. Memberships range from $25 - $45/year.

SAL MEMBERSHIP - Is for male descendants (includes stepsons and adopted sons) of a member of The American Legion.  If your qualifying veteran is living, they must be a member of an American Legion in order for you to join. If they are not a member, encourage them to join so you can as well! If they are deceased, you will just need to provide proof of their service - DD214, or other forms acceptable include photo of headstone with military marking, death notice with service details, etc. Click Here to view/print/download application. AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP -Due to a recent American Legion Auxiliary NJ change in by-laws (12/2025), our procedure for new Auxiliary membership has changed. To become a new member of our Auxiliary, individuals are required to fill out an application form and go through an approval process by our Membership Committee. Once the application is submitted, applicants will be invited to a meeting where the Committee will review their application – upon approval a membership fee shall be paid, which is an annual fee.

People eligible to apply for Auxiliary Post 372 membership include male and female spouses of veteran/active military, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion. If your qualifying veteran is living, they must be a member of an American Legion in order for you to join. If they are not a member, encourage them to join so you can as well!
