Below are some of the Annual Events of American Legion Post 372

Memorial Day Services

On Memorial Day, American Legion Post 372 holds a service at 9am honoring our fallen comrades. This is followed by a service at the American Legion Section in Locustwood Cemetery and then services at Cherry Hill Township.

Veterans Day Services

The American Legion Post 372, in honor of all our veterans, holds Veterans Day Service annually at the Legion. It's a great time to catch up with your fellow comrades.

Food, Toy and Pet Drives

Our Auxiliary unit has food, toy and pet drives every year to help our needy veterans and our local community during their time of need. These drives are generally begin in November. Should you be in need of some help, please click here to contact us.

Youth Art Contest

American Legion Post 372 holds an annual Youth Art Contest, which includes 9th-12th graders from some of our local schools. First place winner receives $1000 Scholarship and paints their mural on facade of Post 372 building. The 2024's contest was a WWII theme. For details, click here.

Flagging of our Veterans Graves

The American Legion Post 372, in honor of all our deceased veterans, flag the veterans graves at 3 local cemeteries prior to Memorial Day every year - including Locustwood Cemetery, Colestown Cemetery and Calvary Cemetery.

Flag Retirement Ceremony

Annually we hold Flag Retirement Ceremonies, alongside of the Boys Scouts, Cub Scouts,  and our local community. This event, open to the public, is held at the firepit outside. After the ceremony, all are welcome to retire their tattered flags.

BOYS & GIRLS STATE

Boys State and Girls State are summer leadership and citizenship programs for high school juniors. For more information, click here.

The American Legion, in support of our young men and women of the community, offer a variety of Scholarships. For more informayion, click here.
