PFC Winfred Alderman, Vietnam Veteran, Native of Burgaw, NC. As a member of the Army, PFC Alderman served our country until May 17th, 1967 in Hua Nghia, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. It was reported that Winfred died from an undetermined explosion. His body was recovered. PFC Alderman is on panel 20E, line 014 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.He served with Charlie Company, 503rd Infantry Regiment, "The Rock", 173rd Airborne Brigade, USARV.
His Mother was Lacy Louise Alderman.
